Porn Block Could be Blessing in Disguise

PM David Cameron has announced he wants an automatic block on all online porn to protect children from harmful material.

Once again, the British media is lumping adult legal porn and illegal, sick child porn in the same old cardboard box under the bed. This is counterproductive. The BBC are showing that they are still as out-of-touch as the Tory party themselves: “Mr Cameron will say that possession of pornography which is so extreme that it cannot even be bought in a licensed sex shop will be made illegal, bringing England and Wales in line with Scotland.”

First off, who still buys stuff from sex shops? Don’t they just sell outfits and butt plugs and assorted paraphernalia now? Shit knows: I haven’t been in one for a long time. The internet has made them redundant, and as Cameron hasn’t realised that, it’s made his argument redundant too.

Now, as much as I love porn, I hate it in an equally dangerous measure. It has robbed so much time from me, it has desensitised me and has left me feeling inadequate and disinterested in regular girls. When I eventually lost my virginity at the disturbingly late age of 25, I had already watched copious amounts of porn. I’d probably been watching it online for about a year by that point. The girl I lost it to was STUNNING, and the sex was good, albeit stressful for me. I couldn’t come, though. I’m 30 now. I still can’t orgasm unless I’m on my own. I can’t even remember the last time I cracked one off without porn.

My situation is worsening as I get older, and I no longer want to let things continue as they are. I’ve got to do something.

If the government goes ahead with the block, there will be a simple process of phoning the internet provider to have it removed. It’s possible, though, that if this block DOES come into effect, I might NOT ask for access to porn. I might NOT have that awkward conversation and I might learn to live without. It could have serious benefits to my health and well-being. I’m going to blog more about this soon.

I have a plan. I’m going to sort this shit out. Further blogs pending.
